Refund and Returns Policy

At RefTool, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not, we offer a flexible return and exchange policy designed to make the process simple and fair.

Return Period

You have 30 days from the delivery date to return items for a refund or exchange. Returns must be initiated within this timeframe.

Return Requirements

Eligible items must meet the following conditions:

  • Unused and in original condition
  • In original packaging with all accessories and manuals
  • Free from damage not related to manufacturing defects
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or order confirmation

Return Authorization

All returns require prior authorization:

  • Provide your order number and reason for return
  • We’ll send you a Return Authorization (RA) number and return instructions
  • Include the RA number with your return shipment

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or special-order tools
  • Items damaged by misuse or normal wear
  • Used consumable items (batteries, oils, filters)
  • Items without original packaging
  • Tools modified or altered from original condition
  • Electrical items that have been installed or wired

Return Shipping

Customer Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance
  • Items must be properly packaged to prevent damage during return transit

Our Responsibility

We cover return shipping costs when:

  • The item received was defective or damaged
  • The wrong item was shipped
  • The item was significantly different from the description

Refund Process

Processing Time

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect returned items
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Credit card refunds may take 1–2 additional billing cycles to appear on your statement

Refund Amount

  • Full purchase price refund for items in perfect condition
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable (unless we made an error)
  • Return shipping costs are deducted from refund unless we cover them

Partial Refunds

  • Returned after 30 days but within 60 days
  • In good condition but missing accessories or packaging
  • Showing signs of light use but still resellable

Exchanges

We offer exchanges for:

  • Different size or model of the same product (subject to availability)
  • Defective items under manufacturer warranty
  • Items received in error

Exchange Process

  • Ship original item back with RA number
  • New item ships once we receive the return

Hazardous Materials
